Republicans Sen. Lowe and Rep. Raper have introduced SB-1968/HB-1823, bills that would allow JUDGES to decide if many families can start homeschooling!

Right now, parents can pull their kids from government schools and homeschool. But SB 1968 / HB 1823 would block that if a school labels a family “truant” — which some school districts can do that after just THREE unexcused absences. Once flagged, a judge gets to decide whether parents may homeschool!
