The latest Nation’s Report Card just dropped — and it’s devastating.
According to the U.S. Department of Education’s own data, high school seniors just recorded their lowest math and reading scores in over 20 years.
Here’s what the report shows:
- 📉 45% of high school seniors can’t meet even the basic math standard.
- 📚 32% are reading below grade level — unable to comprehend what they read.
- 🎓 Only one-third are ready for college-level math.
- 🚨 The worst declines are among the lowest-performing students.
- 😔 These drops began before COVID and have only accelerated since.
Want to know the worst part of it? While the AP story discussed that these were the worst scores in decades….they glossed over the fact that they’ve only been doing this national report card on reading since 1992 – and these are the worst scores since they started tracking it!
And for Math, they’ve been using this same test since 2005, and these are the worst scores they’ve ever been.
That’s right. The schools are doing the worst job educating they’ve ever done.
This report confirms what we all know; we’re not crazy, it really is that bad. They can drone on and on about too much screen time, less reading, and chronic absenteeism, but we know those are a distraction because the school officials are the ones who brought ipads into classrooms.
❌And they’re the ones who moved from reading real literature to woke CRT and LGBTQ+ nonsense books. ❌
