Homeschoolers in Illinois have a big problem on our hands!
Homeschool Freedom Fighters remember HB 2827 from last year — a dangerous bill that would have opened the door to massive state oversight, new reporting requirements, and long-term regulation of homeschool families!
That bill didn’t stall out by accident. It was stopped last year because homeschool families noticed early, organized quickly, and made their voices heard LOUD!
Now, just weeks into a new session, Governor Pritzker and Democrats in Springfield are pushing for a WORSE bill, expanding government control and exerting total hostility toward families who operate outside their “education” system.
This legislation is still being drafted but capitol insiders tell us it’s going to be NASTY!
HB 2827 was a test run and this next attempt will come when they think no one is paying attention.
