New Jersey lawmakers just introduced two anti-homeschooling bills that should set off alarm bells for every homeschooling family in the state!
A-3394 and A-1886 are not symbolic or harmless bills. They are a direct move toward government control of homeschooling — more paperwork, more monitoring, more power handed to school districts that already don’t respect homeschool freedom.
Here’s what these bills include:
–>>> Forces annual homeschool reporting to school districts!
–>>> Mandating that curriculum be tied to state standards!
–>>> Impose annual state-approved evaluations on students!
–>>> Forces parents to do detailed record keeping in portfolios that may never get looked at — adding pointless burdens to homeschool parents!
–>>> Requires names, ages, and addresses of homeschooled children!
–>>> Creates new government tracking where none exists now!
–>>> Effectively establishes a homeschool registry!
Some aspects of these bills were introduced in a different form last year and only got shut down because thousands of homeschoolers got LOUD in opposition. We need to do that again!

Homeschooling in New Jersey has worked just fine for decades, but instead of fixing their own broken government schools, politicians are choosing to target parents who are already doing the job right!
This is how it always starts, Emily. First it’s “just notice.” Then it’s “just standards.” Then it’s “just evaluations.” Before long, families are buried in red tape and forced to answer to the same system they chose to leave.
And that’s exactly the point: the more families flee the Government school system, the more bureaucrats want to control us. They can’t risk millions of young people being pulled out from under their influence.
We’ve seen this playbook before, and it never stops on its own.
This is the moment to push back — hard.

Tell them to respect parental authority and stop targeting families who are doing right by their kids.
If we stay quiet, these bills move. If we get loud, they don’t.
Let’s make sure they hear us.
For freedom,
