These bills are often presented as pro-homeschooling, but what many don’t realize is that poorly-written School Choice bills usually come with hidden strings—government oversight, academic testing requirements, curriculum restrictions, and more. 💡
If the government funds it, the government will eventually try to control it. And that includes homeschooling.
We created this video to help you understand what’s really going on and how these bills could slowly chip away at our hard-earned freedoms. 🛑 We’re not trying to scare anyone—we just believe it’s time for homeschoolers to be informed and prepared to fight the regulations that may come after these bills pass.

To be clear, HFC doesn’t oppose all school choice legislation. And we certainly understand why parents would like to see more of their own tax dollars stay in their pockets. But we have to be careful not to support bills that come with a noose attached.
