I’m reaching out with an update because there’s a crucial opportunity before us – and your voice matters.
Recently we told you about a bill that has been filed in Congress to revoke the NEA’s federal charter (H.R. 4450).
This move is about more than symbolism. The NEA has grown from an educational organization into the largest labor union in America, with nearly 3 million members – and it now operates primarily as a far left-leaning political force rather than a teachers’ advocate.
- Their influence has shaped legislation targeting homeschoolers. Laws to “track, trace, and regulate,” introduced in many blue and purple states, are often authored by NEA-backed politicians.
- In the 2024 election cycle alone, the NEA’s political action committee poured $27 million into local and state races, and another $2.8 million was spent lobbying Congress to advance its radical agenda.
Now, with Congress under a tight Republican majority and H.R. 4450 gaining co-sponsors, we have a real chance to strip away the NEA’s government-endorsed status and remind them that if they’re going to lobby for:
🚫Abortion on demand
🚫CRT in every classroom
🚫Biological men in women’s sports
🚫And every other anti-God, anti-family agenda they can come up with…
… they must do so plainly, not from behind a symbolic labor-union façade.
Every time you see a shocking post in a Mom’s facebook about some crazy new agenda being pushed at her child’s school or another news headline about a crack down on homeschooling, you can bet the NEA likely had a hand in it.
They’re very powerful and to be blunt, they hate us. But there are millions more homeschoolers now than there were even 10 years ago! We’re a fighting force like we’ve never been and we have the ability to shut them down or they wouldn’t be worried about us.
