Stand for homeschool freedom in just seconds

Every family chooses homeschooling for their own reasons — freedom, flexibility, and the chance to give their children the education they deserve. That freedom is precious, and it’s worth protecting.

This year, we’ve seen so many new families step into homeschooling, it truly fills us with hope! It’s such an encouraging thing to see.

Even in challenging times like these last few weeks have been — including the loss yesterday of Voddie Baucham, a huge proponent of homeschooling — we can look to this growing community and be encouraged.

These new families are a reminder of why we keep going: to ensure parents always have the right to teach their children at home.

But right now, politicians across the country are introducing bills that would chip away at that freedom — sometimes outright take away that freedom — and we need YOUR help to make sure future generations can enjoy the same opportunities.

Here are a few of the bills we’ve been fighting just this year:

  • Illinois HB 2827 – Forces families to file homeschool notification forms with government offices.
  • New Jersey A5825 & S1796 – Requires registration with school districts and annual reporting of all homeschoolers.
  • West Virginia HB 3029 – Creates a government-run “Home School Portal” to track families.
  • New York A2326 – Defines homeschool instruction as needing to be “substantially equivalent” to public school, opening the door to heavy oversight.

These are only the beginning — more bills like them are on the way.

You can make a difference. Please take a few seconds to [sign our petition] telling your State Representative and Senator to vote NO on any legislation that restricts homeschooling.

Thank you for standing with us, Emily!
