⚠️⚠️It’s ‘Do or Die’ for homeschooling in Texas

I’m writing with an urgent update on Senate Bill 2 (SB2), the so-called “school choice” bill in Texas.

On the surface, it looks like a win, offering $2,000 per homeschooled kid for things like books or classes. But homeschoolers haven’t been fooled—this bill is a trap. It’s designed to entice homeschoolers into giving up control of our kids’ education.

We can’t let that happen.

Here’s the truth: SB2 dangles financial help but slaps on heavy regulations. If you take the money, you’ll deal with state-approved vendors, annual tests, and oversight from the Texas Comptroller. That’s not freedom—it’s government creeping into our homes, telling us how to teach our own children. We’ve fought too hard to keep homeschooling independent to trade it for a few bucks.

The bill’s moving fast. It’s already passed the Senate and a House committee, and now it’s headed for a full House floor vote. And sources in the Capitol are telling us it may be up for a vote yet THIS WEEK.

We’re at a critical moment. If SB2 becomes law, it could choke our freedom with red tape, not just for us but for our grandkids too. We owe it to them to keep homeschooling free from government control.

We need you to act now. We’ve got a pre-written email ready to go—just click, sign, and send it to your state Representative. Tell them to vote NO on SB2. It takes two minutes, but it could save our kids and grandkids from a future where homeschooling has been fully co-opted and taken over by the government.

>>Help Us Stop This Bill! Tell Your State Rep to Vote No!<<

Homeschoolers fought hard for the freedoms we have today. It took decades to throw off their regulations and requirements — and we can’t let these politicians trade that in for a few dollars.

If you can chip in $10, $20, or whatever you can spare, it’ll help us rally more families and keep the pressure on.

In the meantime, please send that email today, tell your Representative to vote NO, and let’s protect our kids’ future.
