Homeschool parents: well done! 🎉

Some of us homeschool year-round (🙋 we do that too), and some of us just kicked off a brand-new year. Either way, these early days can be some of the hardest. Our routines are still taking shape, the kids are adjusting, and we as parents are carrying the weight of a hundred small decisions every day.

It can be hard.

And let’s be honest, your kids may not be the picture-perfect-matching-outfit looking children from Instagram.

They’re real kids:

  • They wake up grumpy.
  • They get hungry in the middle of math.
  • They lose pencils (and tempers).

But you love them enough to keep showing up anyway. That takes courage, patience, and a whole lot of perseverance.

And if this is your first year homeschooling, you might also be dealing with:

  • The stress of wondering if you made the right decision
  • Your mother-in-law giving you “that look” every time she sees you 😬
  • The whole family struggling to find a rhythm

So if that is you and no one has told you yet: Good job!

You are doing something hard and something good. We’re here to cheer you on, remind you that you’re not alone, and support you as you keep going.

And if you’re that parent that’s sailing right through this first week of school and crushing every goal, loving your curriculum choice and enjoying every moment, that’s fantastic! Wherever you’re at on that spectrum, even if you’re a Grandparent helping out your Grandkids, just know that we see the work you’re putting in.

So here’s to week two and beyond — we’re rooting for you, and what you’re doing will reap an incredible reward!

P.S. Give yourself an extra cup of coffee for making it through the week. ☕

For freedom,
